  The sandwiches here are very tasty. Out of several choices, I have not had anything that I did not like. They put on more meat than Subway (most everyone does), and you can get your choice of toppings for your sandwich. They offer a special every day that allows one to save some money. Service has always been very good and have never had a bad experience here. The only reason that it did not get 5 stars is the cleanliness of the place. The building is old and I don't think they want to spend too much money on the atmosphere. They recently replaced the carpet that had been there forever which was a great improvement. It was not appetizing to see carpet stains from 10 or more years ago. If you go for the food you will enjoy it. If you go for the ambiance, you better be prepared for "yesterday's look".

  We eat there once a week. Fresh sliced meats are always better than the pre-packaged, pre-sliced fare at Subway. They also have a great Ruben!
